Catch The Trews performing an acoustic set on MTV Peaks this Monday May 12th at 11:30pm. This show was recorded during the band's recent visit to Telus Ski & Snowboard Festival in Whistler, BC.

For those who do not have access to this specialty cable channel, you can view it on the CTV network on May 17th at 1am and May 24th at 12:30am.

Peter Elkas is playing tomorrow night, Friday May 9th in Toronto at the Rivoli and you should come, it will be fun!

Why? You ask? Chef Michael P. Clive is opening the show with a cooking demonstration, and the hot new outfit, Zeus will play a set as well. The action starts at around 9pm.

In the event you've been wondering, Two Hours Traffic have been busy writing new songs and they'll now get a chance to unleash them en route to Toronto.

The band will be making stops Montreal, Quebec City, Hamilton, Guelph, London and Brantford before bringing their new songs to Lee's Palace in Toronto on Saturday May 17th.

The band's best friends, Mardeen are going to be joining them on some of these shows, as well as Toronto's The Wooden Sky and fellow Maritimers, Mercy The Sexton.

They also have some new tee shirts available, so save your pennies!

The Trews shows scheduled for tonight, Saturday April 26  in Thunder Bay, ON and tomorrow April 27 in Sault Ste. Marie, ON have both been POSTPONED due to extreme weather outside of Winnipeg, MB.  

The bands tour bus was stopped by the RCMP who had closed the highway.

All tickets will be honoured at a later date.

Two Hours Traffic have decided to try and provide some post-exam happiness to the nice people of Fredericton and Halifax this weekend.

The band is playing the Capitol Bar in Fredericton this evening and The Seahorse in Halifax tomorrow with The Danks. Also appearing on the Halifax show, local rock n' roll sweethearts, The Superfantastics.

If you live in Halifax area and you've just finished school for the year (or you're getting close), bring your text books and the band will let you burn them while they perform (not really).

The Trews recently completed a US tour with Ace Frehley, then spent some time in Cuba and are now in Vancouver, BC for the start of their Canadian tour, which begins this evening. Everyone in the band is really looking forward to seeing some crazy canuck fans over the next few weeks.

Hold Me In Your Arms from The Trews is this week's # 1 video on the MuchMusic Countdown. This is the band's first video to hit the top of the MuchMusic charts.

Some great news, we just confirmed that Alice Cooper will feature The Trews on his syndicated rock radio show called Nights with Alice Cooper. This is excellent exposure for the band south of the border as his show airs on 90 stations in the US. It also runs on 7 Canadian, 9 Australian and 1 station in Ireland.
